Collection: Hologram

Charcoal holographic. It’s a bit more holographic than my pictures are showing here. Although it’s not true black, the grey base makes it rather unique among holos.

The formula is also lovely! Two easy coats with little fuss, no special base coat needed. I did put on Seche Vite as it didn’t seem to negate any of the holoness. Here's a bonus shot of the holo goodness in the bottle (please ignore my awkward hand):

Thanks for looking!

Collection: Color & Go

Baby blue with silver micro-shimmer. Another hidden shimmer! This not pure blue though; it is slightly grey and has a touch of lilac too.

The formula was a little thick, nothing thinner won’t solve. I also found it a little patchy. However, I love the brush! It’s not as wide as OPI, but it’s denser than China Glaze. If only all my polishes had the same brush!

Essence came to Singapore at the end of last year and I was very excited! I read that most of their polishes were good and had to get some to try out. Here’s what I current have:

From the left: Space Queen, Walk Of Fame, Irreplaceable, Sure Azure, and Blue Addicted.

Collection: 2010 Fall

Sage green with silver micro-shimmer. The micro-shimmer stays hidden most of the time, only appearing in under the sun. I love wearing such polishes; it’s like a little secret that only I know ;)

The application was smooth and easy in two coats. See that pretty shimmer? It is a bit hard to spot in person so don’t be too disappointed when it looks like a cream. Trust me, it’s definitely there.
