Misa Dirty Sexy Money

Collection: Living on the Fast Lane (2009 Spring)

A dusty turquoise green cream. I usually prefer dusty shades over brights, so I fell for this color the moment I saw swatches online! I also favor turquoise, especially so when it leans strongly on the green side. And since I adored the name, I had nothing not to love in this shade!

There was one major problem I had with it: the consistency was so thick, it was a bit of a nightmare to work with! I'm not sure whether it was just this bottle, because I heard that Misa crèmes usually apply like butter. My only other Misa is so smooth. But this, I had to add a lot of Seche Restore to get it manageable. And by a lot, I meant more than twenty drops.

I'll still be keeping this color because I love it! And after thinning it, it only took two coats. It also wore like iron, lasting an amazing seven days with some tip wear (the first chip appeared on the eight day).

Polish sandwich:
• China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat (1 coat)
• Misa Dirty Sexy Money (2 coats)
• Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat (1 coat)
