Polish Days: 7 Deadly Sins

This month’s theme is the 7 deadly sins – envy, gluttony, greed, lust, pride, sloth and wrath. I confess to having committed all of them before, some more than others. Instead of any specific sin, I was inspired to do a blood splatter. Because it was blood that washed my sins away.

It’s Your blood that cleanses me
It’s Your blood that gives me life
It’s Your blood that took my place
In redeeming sacrifice
Washes me whiter than the snow
My Jesus
God’s precious sacrifice

There are many types of splatterings, I personally prefer the speckled or sprayed designs over the smudges or spills. But I guess the inconsistency is part of its charm. I used a coat Gelous before Seche Vite as SV tends to smudge my nail art.

Polish peels:
• NailTek Foundation II (1 coat)
• OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (2 coats)
• Essie First Dance (1 coat)
• American Classics Gelous (1 coat)
• Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat (1 coat)

  5. Your interpretation is beautiful. Love the look, especially with MBSW backdrop make the "blood splatter" way dramatic. Sort of splattered on the innocence of white.. you know? Great job.

  6. Thank you! Yup, that was exactly my intention for it to look like blood spilled over freshly driven snow.
